The mission of the BizTalk-Community is to provide technology and
content in an online
community for all those various types of users and organizations using BizTalk to deliver EAI solutions.
Instead of just being a user group that was a chapter in a specific geographical
region we have worked to ensure that the BizTalk-Community focus is community of practice
based. Our focus has, and always will be, on ensuring that anyone
looking for information and technical materials (eBooks, examples and so forth)
on Microsoft's BizTalk can find useful information here.
From the start of this effort our focus has always been about ensuring the furthering of consumers as they use BizTalk as an EAI platform.
To assist us and ensure we could deliver a quality value added offering we focused on a few things:
Based on a Community of Interest/Community of Practice Model
Guarantee that developers/users can operate and participate in an product based environment where they
are able to gain useful ifnormation and not be sold vendors products or
services
Provide a technology capability for all users to share/collaborate and interact
Ensure we have a focus across multiple industries - Healthcare, Finance, Government
Provide an overaching Technical Advisory Board
